SFB 871 researches methods for regenerating complex capital goods and transfers its findings into numerous industry-related transfer projects.

AeroScale-VSL

AeroScale-VSL investigates the aeroacoustic scaling of compressor stator guide vanes in order to accurately capture sound transmission behavior and improve modeling approaches.

 

LES compressor cascade

LES compressor cascade investigates turbulence in compressors using stereo PIV and LES to better understand flow behavior and improve modeling approaches.

 

PARMA

PARMA investigates acoustic resonances in axial compressors in order to precisely characterize their occurrence and develop models for prediction and suppression.

 

SiValt

SiValt analyzes aeroacoustic effects in compressor stator guide vanes through combined experiments and simulations to improve modeling and prediction.

 

 

VedAS/USTRa

USTRa investigates aeroacoustic mechanisms in low-pressure turbines through combined experiments and simulations in order to evaluate sound generation and transport more precisely.

ARIEL

ARIEL is developing an electric charging system for fuel cells to increase the efficiency, dynamics, and performance of future hydrogen drives.

PastA² is developing a test bench for realistic testing of fuel cell charging systems in order to specifically increase their efficiency, robustness, and technological maturity.

REZEBT is developing a compact, highly efficient anode recirculation blower that reliably recirculates hydrogen and increases the performance of PEM fuel cells.
